MICHELLE WHALEN 

I'm a maker and a thinker! For as long as I can remember I’ve been drawn to color and texture. It seems like I was destine to explore their playful combinations, so I attend Syracuse, School of Visual and Performing Arts. Upon graduating, my analytical mind wanted more, I attend the Boston Architectural College, where I found Architecture to be the perfect blend of art and science.

After nine years in the architectural profession, I wanted to create something on my own. Something that had my voice, my vision and allowed me to stretch my creative skills. Launching the Andover Bear Company has been an incredibly rewarding experience and I've grown as a designer in multiple ways.

 

The next chapter of my life is unknown, but I do know it will be filled with hard work, persistence and curiosity.
